The impossibly small sculptures are the work of talented Turkish student Recep Alcamli, who discovered his talent purely by chance when he was sharpening a pencil. The 23-year-old, of Elazıg, Turkey, who describes his work as ‘graphite art’, says: “It all started as a bit of an accident whilst I was studying for some exams. ‘I was sharpening a pencil, and I suddenly thought about how I could make the nib into a stylish shape.
