WORLD’S SMALLEST DEER BORN AT CHESTER ZOO

One of the world’s smallest deer has been born at Chester Zoo. Wandering around her enclosure, the new arrival gets used to her new surroundings. The fawn, born to mum Serena and dad Odin, is a pudu - the world’s smallest species of deer. The baby pudu, which keepers have named Selene, is part of a European conservation breeding programme to protect the species.
